Learn Magic Tricks

Magic basically consist of 2 element. Sleight of hands and trick equipment. Close up magic of course. Stage magic are all trick equipment.

But as a beginner, I suggest you learn sleight of hand. I dont know what stick you have, but start with coin sleight

There are many books and video on introduction to coin magic. Here, you will learn how to
-palm a coin (secretly hold a coin in your palm, or between your last 2 fingers, for example)
-false transfer (you act as if you pick up a coin from your left hand, but you did not grab anything and the coin is secretly retained in the left hand palm)
-secret steal (you really hold a coin in your hand, grab it. But you secretly steal it without your audience noticing, and so the coin is no longer there)
-secret transfer. (you secretly load an empty hand with a coin. again done without the audience noticing it)

With this, you are prepare to do basic coin magic.

Then, there’s card sleight of hand.
Card sleight of hand is a more complicated field to learn, there are many concept I cant list them all down here. Some are palming a card, double lifting, secret transfer, secret steal, false shuffle, peak, forcing, multiple card control, and so on…

there are many magic books and DVD for introduction to card magic, and they dont require any trick equipment, just a normal deck of card.
