Learn Magic Tricks

There are many effective card tricks to do that will amaze you and your family. Just type in ‘Card tricks’ in YouTube and you will find plenty there, and they often show them how to do it.

A very good card trick to learn, which leads to many other card tricks is called ‘the double flip’

Effect– You show the audience the top card. You place the top card back into thte pack, and tell the audience to take the top card again. To their surprise its the same card you showed before!!

How its done-
Hold the deck of cards in your left hand, and practice picking up two cards at a time with your right hand, but one behind the other, so it looks like, in your hand you’ve only got one card (the audience will think your showing them the top card, when infact your showing them the 2nd card, the top being hidden). Put the cards back onto the top of the deck, and take the top card off. Place it anywhere in the deck, and the top card of the deck will now still be the same card you showed before.

Another effect is instead of placing that first card in the deck, show the audience the card, and they will think the top card has changed.

For example, imagine you have an Ace and a two. the Ace is the top card. You pick up the top two cards, but making it look like youve only picked one card, show the audience the cards, and they will only see the two, now put the two cards back on top, this time take the actual top card, the ace, and show them, they will think the two has changed into ace!

Double flip is the gateway to all good card tricks, and once you get the hang of the double flip, you can do triple flips! but make sure the audience doesn’t get too close the cards, or they will see the trick!
