Obviously you don’t yet understand human nature.

God preformed miracles. He not only did this to help people, but to restore the faith in people. If you saw an instant miracle, wouldn’t you be overwhelmed?

    he didn’t perform magic tricks

    he healed people for real

people would not follow a person just because some one said I was sent from God.

There is a difference between Miracle and Magic.

Look at how many people saw them and still did not believe……

But many did believe. His Miracles fulfilled the Old Testament Prophecy.

    Hope this helps.

Jesus did NOT have to do anything. But he chose to so he could get people to pay attention so he could save them from Hell

He didn’t do magic tricks, He did miracles. And it’s because he was showing people like YOU that he really is Jesus, because you are so freaking stubborn! Sorry for yelling.

Did you see Jesus’ fishes and loaves trick! Nobody ever told the Christians it was just a magic trick though, they were like the little kids at magic shows that actually believe its real.

Historically speaking, he wasn’t actually trying to get people to worship him or to start a new religion (read the gospels). He just had a different interpretation of Hebrew law.

As for the “magic tricks,” I doubt they ever happened but there are some Christians who don’t believe Jesus could perform miracles. I’m an agnostic, but you could say I follow Jesus because I respect his message wasn’t about following the spirit of Hebrew Law rather than the laws himself.

Who thought he was the son of God? Jesus complimented Paul’s wisdom for figuring it out, and still didn’t exactly admit it. Your question implies that the Son of God was on a publicized world tour. He had to prove that he is the son of God. Or, at least, that he understood the will of God well enough to advise other people on how to live.

yeah and he says god provides no proof but you must have faith and just believe, for blessed is he…..
then turns around and preforms miracles to prove the hand of god in everything….
    whatever….

Well his father wanted him to follow in the family business and be a carpenter…

But Jesus decided that was a bad idea when he got his letter to Hogwarts..
Back then, they didn’t have that law that you couldn’t use magic in front of muggles.

wouldn’t you…i’m surprised he performed so few given his obvious ability to do so…he probably did just didn’t make it into the book what with all the editing and rewrites the bible’s seen, or maybe…he didn’t at all… they were added in during said process i mean it is just a book and they were looking to sell as many as possible and boy have they ever…wonder what else might have been thrown in there to make for a better book…could it be all of it, the mere premise alone could be made up…i wonder?

I’m fairly certain you have no proof that magic was performed. And because you aren’t a Christian and more than likely an Atheist, then you are simply ranting.

He did not perform magic, magic does not exist.
    He performed MIRACLES…

A man cannot simply say he is the Son of God and expect people to believe, Jesus had to perform miracles so that people would believe in him.

They were not magic tricks. Many believe, even a growing number of Christians that he really possessed some knowledge that to the people witnessing the acts would seem like magic tricks. I once heard that sufficiently advanced technology would look to us like magic.

Some of the “miracles” still have a lot of explaining to do. Jesus disappeared from the Biblical texts for a number of years. Opposed to what some people believe, his family was not poor. Some theological scholars believe that he was off learning a lot of the philosophical and religious teachings he lectured. Because back then no everyone went to “university” (as we would know it these days) whatever he said or did seemed holly to them.

Now, Jesus was a real person and reducing him to “magic tricks” just shows your lack of knowledge.
